Questions, answered straight
Both sides of the marketplace. If a number is not here, it lives in the public ledger, not in marketing.
- What is clipbeep?
- A performance marketplace for clip seeding. Brands fund campaigns and pay for verified views (CPM) and attributed sales with a hard cost cap (CPA). Clippers post short-form clips and get paid for the results their clips drive. Every cent moves through a public ledger.
- How do brands pay for customers instead of views?
- A brand sets its max cost per customer - its break-even or below. Sales attribute back through click ids and promo codes, each attributed sale pays out capped at that price, and the campaign budget is enforced in code, so it can never overspend.
- Do I need followers to earn?
- No. Everyone can earn with clipbeep: views are verified on the clip itself, not on your follower count, and sales attribute through your personal link and promo code. You can even earn referral-style by sharing your link without filming.
- When do clippers get paid?
- Earnings accrue as views verify and sales attribute, clear 7 days later (the chargeback window), and pay out from a $10 minimum once your payout account passes a one-time identity check.
- How much do clippers make?
- There is no guaranteed amount and no invented average: earnings depend on the campaigns you join and the views and sales your clips verify. Typical campaign rates run $0.90 to $2.50 per 1,000 verified views plus sale bonuses up to the brand's cap. The live payout feed at /beeps shows real, current payouts.
- What is a verified view?
- A view we can defend: read from the platform itself (Shorts through the public data API, TikTok and Reels once the clipper connects that account), run through velocity checks against botted spikes, and only then paid. Anomalies get flagged, and flagged activity is never paid.
- What does clipbeep cost a brand?
- A 15% take on what campaigns spend, plus a $150/month subscription starting from a brand's second month. Deposits fund clippers' earnings; the take is the platform's cut of actual spend, not of the deposit.
- What is the minimum budget?
- Campaigns start at $50. The first funded campaign also unlocks the clipper directory.
- How does attribution work technically?
- Every clipper gets a personal tracking link. A click logs a click id and forwards to the brand's product; the sale comes back through Stripe, a one-line script, a server-to-server API, or a payment provider webhook, carrying that click id or a promo code. Refunds reverse the payout automatically.
- What happens on refunds or chargebacks?
- The accrual reverses: unpaid earnings are deducted, and the 7-day clearing window exists precisely so most reversals happen before money moves.
- Can any product run a campaign?
- No. Gambling, casino and prediction-betting products are not accepted, and campaigns must hold rights to the source assets clippers edit.
- Why should anyone trust the numbers?
- Because they are public. The payout ledger is visible to everyone, anti-fraud decisions are explained, and marketing numbers match the ledger - every cent, visible.
